Made of fine batiste with lace-edged bands of embroidered insertion running through the bodice culminating in a strip of ribbon-lace bridging at waistline. The skirt is embellished with bands of lace and embroidered insertions with hem featuring a lace-edged ruffle. The puff sleeves and neck edge are finished with ruffled lace.

The lace-edged slip features a buttoned back which extends into a placket for ease of getting on and off. The gathered skirt provides support for the outer garment with lace edging on hem, neck and arm opening. Other fabrics and trim are available.
